So, I was warmly invited by Junaid Kazi of Media Inbound Pr and despite my tiring and exhausting weekends, happily accepted as I am insanely hunting Italian cuisine in Islamabad to satify my taste buds. Taking you back to my history, Im from Lahore and trust me when I say, eatery is a huge competition over there. So migrating to Islamabad with a taste of blood in my mouth, it was very difficult to gratify my quench of good food.

Food Market by Food Panda in Islamabad

Its been a long time i have shared something on my blog , so as food gives energy to our body, this Food Market I attended this weekend energised me for writing again. So I was fortunate enough to be invited by Food Panda to its Bites and Vibes Food Market in Islamabad. It was a chance to meet Islamabadi crowd and explore its love for food in one place. So i was anxiously waiting for the day to come.

Finally after waking my self up on a lazy weekend I managed to arrive at Art and Craft Village, Shakarparian around 4 pm as the timings were from 10 am till 10 pm. With a minimal of Rs.200 entry fee, we were welcomed by a cute Panda and a Pink ambience.

A refreshing and warm crowd of different ages were having a great time with the eye catching stalls as appetising aroma surrounded the area.  Food stalls consisted of appealing names of Islamabad such as The Waffle House, Chatta's , Rahdaari, Istanbul Restaurant, Sinfully Yours, Payt Pooja, …

Egg Wonder

A wonderful recipe sharing with you all...

Ingredients:

5 eggs3 Tablespoons mayonnaise2 tablespoons mustard sauce1 teaspoon steak sauce1/4 teaspoon paprika powderYoung's Sandwich SpreadSalt and ground black pepper to tasteItalian Seasoning
Method:

Add eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, and let eggs stand in hot water for 15 minutes. Remove eggs from hot water, cool under cold running water, and peel. Chop eggs and transfer to a large bowl. Stir mayonnaise, mustard sauce, sandwich spread (Young's), steak sauce, paprika into eggs until well mixed; season with salt and black pepper. Cover and refrigerate until chilled, if desired.Sprinkle with Italian Seasoning before serving.

A few days ago, I tried this recipe and it turned out to be a huge success. It's a healthy filler recipe and a MUST try. Special secret about it is that I invented this one!

Ingredients:
Open your refrigerator & grab the following things:

Chicken - 1 small piece, boiledCarrot - 1 (peeled and cut them round)Potato - A half, finely gratedPeas (Optional) - Half a cupOnion - 1 (small finely chopped)Eggs - 2
Some things more that you will find in your kitchen:

Salt - To TasteBlack Pepper - To TasteSoy Sauce - To TasteMint - Half TeaspoonGreen Chillies - 1 to 2Mayonnaise - As DesiredOil - 1 tablespoon (For Frying)
Method:

Boil the peas.Take some oil in a pan. Don’t use excess oil. Slightly fry the carrots until tender.Add Potatoes, then boiled peas, shredded chicken and onions.Add Salt, Black Pepper and 1 teaspoon of Soy Sauce and fry till you smell the aroma and you know its cooked.Now add mayonnaise into this mixture and keep it aside.Now grind the mint leaves and chillies to form a pa…

A cloudy weather, a soft breeze touching my face, enchanted by the memories of yesterday… I’m getting married tomorrow... Scared, excited, fear of unknown, yet desperate enough to see what is written on the next page of my life…

All went well, travelled from Lahore to Rawalpindi, all the way updating my Facebook status for my dear friends I left behind, but brought with me, the essence of their pure love and cherished moments spent together.
Here comes the BIG DAY!!! Treated like a Queen by my dear In-laws, enjoying every moment of my life, waiting for the typical traditions, waiting to be judged by the dessert I will make… Well, it was 2 months after my wedding though…
But what happened before this traditional ceremony is, what I am sharing today… After 2 weeks full of fun and discoveries, I was standing in the kitchen, enthusiastic for making the very first breakfast for my husband.
