Oriflame The One Concealer

I have been into makeup cosmetics world since I got married. As it is a trend in Pakistani society that the "new Dulhan" is supposed to look "ready" (I still wonder in what context they use this word :P) all the time. Since my rebellious nature never let me use anything except a lipstick and a mascara, I started using a blusher as I got pale due to some illness. Then comes ageing :) So a good foundation was the need of the hour. But I was unable to ignore the dark panda eyes that I had so nonetheless I had to try a concealer as well... Hmmmm so much of a story right...

As I got my hands on this concealer, I want to share my experience regarding it :) So today I am up with a review on Oriflame The One Illuskin Concealer in Fair Light that goes with my skin tone.

Review:

It has a light runny and creamy texture that is perfect for application and blending. It gives a medium coverage to the required area. As for working women, it is good for daily use, however, slight touch ups are required to go around all day. A small amount of this concealer is enough for a required coverage. So as I blended it over my dark circle, I gave a few seconds to it for resting and blending properly. However, I had this greyish finished look that I don't like at all! It makes the dark circles more prominent. So after watching some tutorial and videos on Youtube, I decided to use a red corrector with it and it worked :D My dark circles were less visible after it but I will not claim that only this concealer can give proper coverage.

The best part of this concealer is that it does not crease into lines and look smooth and set throughout the day.

Swatches of the shade:

Pros:

  • Light runny texture , easy to blend.

  • Travel-Friendly.
  • 5-6 hours staying power.
  • Coverage looks natural and best for daily use.

Cons:

  • Few shades available in Pakistan.

  • Won’t hide heavy dark circles.

  • I have to use a red corrector to hide my dark circles.
  • Needs a corrector under it for full coverage.
  • Shelf life is just 12 months.
  • It expires before it is completely used.
